Come, be my love in the rain

I love rains. And this is one of the best poems I have written (if I can say so myself (:-P)). The title alludes to Robert Frost’s poem ‘The Line-Storm Song’.

Come, be my love in the rain

Let us capture this moment of love

Like the sky does when it rains

Let the gentle breeze

Touch us with her magic wand

Let the love birds

Sing our favorite enchanting love song

Let the trees blow

In our ears, Sweet nothings

Let the rain drops

Carry the potion of love

Let our footprints

Mark the place

Where our love entwined with that of

the Earth and the Rain

Let this memory be engraved

In the nature’s beauty

So tomorrow

A lover can sing

Again

Come, be my love in the rain.
